“The Kitchen” portrays the problems about family or relationships that modern women are faced with, also includes the memories between mother and daughter, and the doubts about happiness. The daily lives of a housewife in an enclosed kitchen, the broadcasting story “Legend of the White Snake”, interlaces in “The Kitchen”, constituting a mix of realistic and imagery, and a combination of modern and the past. 

The performance pictures the fantasy through the interaction between actors and puppets, images and actors, images and puppets, also emphasize the realistic part of humanity, leading the audience to travel between fantasy and reality. “The Kitchen” uses a mobile platform as the stage installation. Under the flickering fluorescent lamp, the realistic, enclosed kitchen setting clearly depicts the unique atmosphere in the Taiwanese kitchen, which is composed of the worries of Taiwanese women, in the color blue.
