After his mother’s funeral, the man returns home by himself wearily, and a flash of childhood memory prior to his father’s abandonment twenty years ago flushes in. Being incomprehensible of his untraceable father, it’s even more difficult for him to understand his mother’s persistent awaiting for her heartless husband. As secrets reveal by legacy letters found in the deathly still room, a controversial story of desperate struggle about life and death unfolds. Theatrical elements as live actors, puppets, physical performance, and live music are incorporated into the dramatic narrative and create a story of suspense. By using objects as cues to trigger changes of time of plots and scenes, it illustrates a montage of life and death.
